Ulrike was born in Mozart’s hometown of Salzburg and studied Set and Costume Design at the Mozarteum — Salzburg’s world-famous University of Music and Dramatic Arts.
As a well-established artist, Ulrike commutes frequently between her new country of residence, Australia, and Europe, where she continues her professional work as a set and costume designer engaged by European theatre companies.
Her graphic works have been shown in many exhibitions including at the Hohe Festung in Salzburg, a number of galleries in Italy and importantly, at the Stadttheater in her ‘second hometown’ — Luzern, in Switzerland. Ulrike’s artworks are in high demand and have won numerous prizes both here and overseas.
Ulrike’s numerous engagements in the theatre have led her to the Austrian cities of Vienna, Graz, Innsbruck, and Salzburg. She has also participated in Salzburg’s Festspiele, as well as in numerous productions in the opera houses of Germany, Italy, Switzerland and Ireland.
